I learned quite recently that August 8[1] is HTML Day, a celebration of HTML that includes actual meetups! It almost feels like a silly thing to celebrate when I think back to my teenage self building fan sites in notepad.exe, but in reality it's quite impowering to be able to craft something with one's own (digital) hands. No Man’s Sky turns ten years old tomorrow. I will not review the cycle of hype, disappointment, then eventual revival around the game. I’ve been there a few times before. It is enough for this moment to say that game is very different than it was back at launch in 2016.
