I’ve seen a half-dozen concerts at the Greek Theatre over the past 20 or so years, most recently last week. Every time the sound balance has been perfect, no matter what type of act is playing. It's the sixth of September already, somehow. Summer finally feels as though it's at an end, with the temperature outside right now a chilly +9C°, and the overcast sky a slate pewter with a biting wind. Today at my local farmer’s market, one of my favorite stands had sliced raw yellow with red stripe beets out as samples. I hadn’t seen raw beets set out to sample raw before and I gave them a try. Today after some small tweaks I moved the updated category page into the Off the Top blog area. Clicking any category will bring it up. Let’s say you want pages categorized with “folksonomy”, Folksonomy :: Off the Top :: vanderwal.net, and you get the updated category page. It allows you to filter the 128 (as of today for posts categorized as having folksonomy content) blog posts by a five-year range, as well as a co-category. So yeah, I started up back at work for the new school year. All the usual stuff to deal with. Updates to government policies to read. Leadership imploring all staff to do better.
