I’ve finished both of my “Summer Project” games, and am now at an impasse. I don’t know what I want to play now. I have options, an actual written backlog I want to tackle, but nothing speaks to me right now. And so I’m just kind of “floating”, waiting on something to strike.

August came in at 2 hours and 24 minutes.
That number is wrong and I want to say so before anybody gets attached to it.
Here's what the tracker gave me. 1 hour in WoW. 56 minutes in Guild Wars 2. And then 28 minutes filed under something, somewhere, doing who knows what. I have no idea. It's a rounding error with a mystery attached.
The real number is more like 10 to 15 hours, and almost all of the missing time happened in Vancouver.

Whew! We made it the current build of Poetry Slammers! Version .07 did a lot. Besides adding a new campaign circuit (a monumental task in and of itself), scoring was rebuilt, an infinity mode was added to the game, and a whole slew of word packs were added to the shop.

At this point in building Poetry Slammers, I started to get a little disappointed with the payoff from moving from one circuit to another. It felt a bit like "more of the same." To counteract that I made MORE COMICS! The comic system was working pretty great for tutorials, so I decided to apply this idea to when you finished a venue. Been a busy week, but it’s been a worthwhile one. First more poor GP who went a little pale when I told him I hadn’t been taking my metoprolol for a week. And I’m not going back on it. It’s been causing the hot sweats I’ve been trying to get rid of for YEARS now.

Joar of MMO Casual has a post up about tracking gaming hours. As I was saying only the other day, it's not a thing I've ever done, or not with any precision or intent, at least. I've always been happy enough with a rough estimate.
It used to be very easy, back when I was working something close to full time. I could add up evenings and weekends and come to something pretty close. Playing mostly one MMORPG at any given time made it easier to keep track, too.
