I’ve seen a half-dozen concerts at the Greek Theatre over the past 20 or so years, most recently last week. Every time the sound balance has been perfect, no matter what type of act is playing. It's the sixth of September already, somehow. Summer finally feels as though it's at an end, with the temperature outside right now a chilly +9C°, and the overcast sky a slate pewter with a biting wind. Malvaltar mentioned in the comments the other day that the inaccessible part of the city of Hethereau, to the east of the river, had been redeveloped. It's a large area, easily as big as any of the existing districts, and it's been there since the game started but we've never been able to go there.

At the beginning of the year I wrote ideas for 2026 and updated with progress on 2026 in March. Then again halfway through the year. The beginning of September does not seem like the obvious next check-in. But I slow down dramatically in the autumn and winter. Also, it's my birthday so that feels like a natural time. There is a very special park in my area—there’s a lot of parks, it’s nice. It is a beautiful bit of nature. It is full of lush greenery that is deeply refreshing to be among.
Except is isn’t actually natural. The whole thing is engineered. It’s centered around a canal that was gouged out for business and industry and commerce. The big finale of Fogden Game takes place in some kind of derelict coliseum. At one end there's the Fog Coffin and in front of it stands Inanna, flanked by Zankou and Poinsette. At the other, there's everyone else.

I have survived another vacation.
As part of the packing for the trip, I brought the Switch 2, the Retroid Pocket 6, the RG35XXSP, and of course our phones. A full week away from my PC and typical setup would be a perfect use-case scenario for all these retro machines, right? And I would have been very happy to report how much use they had gotten given how much money was spent on their purchases.
