I’ve finished both of my “Summer Project” games, and am now at an impasse. I don’t know what I want to play now. I have options, an actual written backlog I want to tackle, but nothing speaks to me right now. And so I’m just kind of “floating”, waiting on something to strike.

Yesterday I mentioned I'd played through the latest story episode in Neverness To Everness but I didn't say much about it, other than that I enjoyed it. Let's fix that.

At first glance the patch notes for version five of Poetry Slammers don't seem all that large, but the pipeline for creating a new campaign circuit was deepening quite a bit. Whenever I added a new circuit, the following had to be created:
A campaign strip with three new venues
Separated building icons for each new venue
One themed exterior background
One themed interior background
15 new puzzles (five for each venue)
A new judge character
A new speaking animation set for the judge
A new slammer…

We had a solar eclipse here in Europe last week. I didn't see it this time, but I've seen I think two partial eclipses before and they were always fascinating to witness. Recently a person I'm following on Mastodon posted a picture of two cats. It was cute and kind of funny. I saw it, chuckled and forgot about it.
But then someone replied that they ran the picture through an AI checker and according to this the picture was very likely AI generated.
So the original poster apologised for not checking whether or not the picture was AI generated slop and to make up for their blunder, posted a different cat picture that wasn't AI generated (hopefully).
