So yeah, I started up back at work for the new school year. All the usual stuff to deal with. Updates to government policies to read. Leadership imploring all staff to do better. I want to share a dumb little side note on specifically these posts. One, I often write them throughout the week, as I do things, so I don’t forget. A stressful week with a new Kindaichi novel, more Traitors, more P5 Tactica, some Fate/GO, and a jigsaw puzzle.
This was supposed to be something of a rest week, but it has mostly been spent stressing about jobs. I got a job offer for a test proctoring position with Pearson (as in, the publisher), but didn't like the vibes in the interview. Malvaltar mentioned in the comments the other day that the inaccessible part of the city of Hethereau, to the east of the river, had been redeveloped. It's a large area, easily as big as any of the existing districts, and it's been there since the game started but we've never been able to go there.

On Tuesday it was the Massachusetts primary. I volunteered to work at the election. It was interesting, but also slightly boring. In my town, they allow you to volunteer/work for only half the day, which is good because it starts at 6:30 in the morning and doesn't end until after 10 PM. Today marks one year since I was laid off from a role I had for over six years.

I went back to work today, my staycation coming to a close with the first call that came in at 7:10 this morning. Surprisingly, I didn’t want to throw my laptop into the street nearly as much as I usually do. Typically, I want that thing smashed into pieces by noon.
