I’ve seen a half-dozen concerts at the Greek Theatre over the past 20 or so years, most recently last week. Every time the sound balance has been perfect, no matter what type of act is playing. I’ve finished both of my “Summer Project” games, and am now at an impasse. I don’t know what I want to play now. I have options, an actual written backlog I want to tackle, but nothing speaks to me right now. And so I’m just kind of “floating”, waiting on something to strike.

Malvaltar mentioned in the comments the other day that the inaccessible part of the city of Hethereau, to the east of the river, had been redeveloped. It's a large area, easily as big as any of the existing districts, and it's been there since the game started but we've never been able to go there.

While up in the Lake District on holiday spouse and I took a ride on the Settle–Carlisle line. It’s “one of the world’s most scenic railway journeys” and runs across regions of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines.

This week was the lead up to and start of our road trip. I enjoy road trips a lot. Driving through Oregon and Northern California is a delight. Joar of MMO Casual has a post up about tracking gaming hours. As I was saying only the other day, it's not a thing I've ever done, or not with any precision or intent, at least. I've always been happy enough with a rough estimate.

A visit to the Lake District would not be complete without at least one walk to the top of a big hill. What with spouse and I not being regular users of shanks pony least of all up mountains I asked around for recommendations for a novices hill climb. Cat Bells was suggested and did not disappoint.
