This painting is the result of a YouTube tutorial that I found, and I think it turned out pretty cute. I’m still trying to learn how to use my watercolours properly, and sometimes I don’t really have any creative ideas but I do still want to be creative. Following along with tutorials can scratch that itch, and teach me some neat techniques.

We visited some friends recently, and while we were there, my daughter got to try out Dreamlight Valley. While she does not know many Disney films yet (except for the first Frozen movie… who is surprised? ;) ), she certainly knows Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie, and Donald. She was really excited to see them walking around in the world.

Threadsnakes are (get this) snakes, in the family Leptotyphlopidae, and are also called blind snakes. They are very tiny, usually not exceeding 12 inches, and look like small earthworms. Upon closer inspection, they are not worms because they have tiny dot eyes (as if drawn on by pencil) and a mouth with a jaw!
