I'm munching on shrimp chips as I write this. Both sushi restaurants I've been to serve these, while none of the ones I went to in LA did. This puffy variant doesn't read as Japanese to me, but I suppose when the menu lists pho and panang curry alongside its sushi and sashimi, there really aren't any boundaries.

I had a fun day today! I went to work, and then went to a new meetup. This is something I found out about the day before - the alumni of a programmer's retreat in NYC in my city have a weekly meetup apparently, where techies get together and do remote work, and afterwards they discuss interesting problems faced during their work/side projects.
Let's be real, I did not get serious work done because I was too excited…

This was originally a recipe that I grabbed off the internet, so long ago that I don’t even remember where. It’s had a few modifications over time however and is now perfectly delicious. I present it to you here.
