After a pretty solid week of World of Warcraft discussions, I thought I'd take today to being to toss in some discussions on other games.
I gave Final Fantasy XIV a real shot. Not a weekend, not a free trial I abandoned in the starting city. A couple of years, an actual subscription, a character and jobs I put genuine hours into. On the Blaugust Discord, UltrViolet suggested that bloggers link their post titles to the permalinks so that it’s easy to just right-click, “Copy Link as Markdown,” and get a formatted link with the correct title. This probably does not merrit an entire post but I spent a little too long troubleshooting this one so I figured I would post about it anyway. I have an instance of Immich installed and I use the iOS app to backup photos from my phone. I had not noticed that this was not happening for a while.

It all started last Wednesday. I wanted to listen to some lo-fi music while coding. I turned on my speakers, and nothing happened. I tried turning them off and on again: nothing. I even plugged them into another wall socket, but the LED stayed dark.

I asked around a few friends who do watercolour painting for paint brand suggestions. I’ve been using Winsor & Newton (pictured on the right) but they are student grade paints, and are not lightfast.
