Threadsnakes are (get this) snakes, in the family Leptotyphlopidae, and are also called blind snakes. They are very tiny, usually not exceeding 12 inches, and look like small earthworms. I asked around a few friends who do watercolour painting for paint brand suggestions. I’ve been using Winsor & Newton (pictured on the right) but they are student grade paints, and are not lightfast. Here’s a good post and tips from Mike Harley: How I make my blog posts more resilient.
Mike recommends self-hosting media. I’ve been back and forth about doing that vs. using something like Cloudinary or Cloudflare. I think Mike makes a good point, and I’ll keep the images in my blog repo.
Mike also puts permalinks in his posts proactively (excuse the accidental alliteration) so they stay consistent across platforms. Smart.

Splatoon Raiders is a clever mixture of Splatoon and Monster Hunter gameplay, stripping out the PvP and leaving pure single-player and co-op goodness.
