I love fountain pens. For a few years now I’ve started collecting a handful of cheaper pens to experiment with and figure out what sort of nib I enjoyed. For the past couple of years I've seen the concept several times: punch needling. I didn't think much of it, I preferred to crochet and knit, and I didn't need another hobby.
Then I saw a cute coaster kit the other day, and I had to get it. The advantage was that the kit came with all the materials, including a punch needle.

Yesterday I moved my blog to Hugo and, despite my rigorous testing locally and in a staging deployment, I broke my RSS feed in production. Perfect. 🤦♂️
The issue was that the Hugo baseURL setting wasn’t being applied properly, so all the post links were pointing at localhost. The scrappy, I’m-in-the-middle-of-dinner fix was to set it manually:

I am just not having a winner week. I started a new med in Sunday and have landed very firmly in the nausea side effects. This drug is akin to a GLP-1 so it's probab,y the effects on digestion + some of these act by slowing down how quickly you digest which can lead to food fermenting. Which makes you gassy.

I recently repaired the Micro USB socket of an old Raspberry Pi; the one through which the Pi receives it's power. It was a bit of a fiddly soldering job because the connections for the USB port are tiny. I had another flat today when I went out to take my bike on an errand. Upon examination of the tube and the corresponding location in the tire, it was exactly under the same place that I had a previous flat, but I had been not careful about which direction I put the patched to back in.
