Three of these are mine with setup and other stuff Was supposed to be catching up, but ended up missing a couple of days instead, downside of being back home compared to travels – too much stuff that affects my plans out of my control. Even though most of my travels I’m not solo (sadly, mostly financial reasons), but it’s still just one person usually and it’s easier to discuss plans, besides I’m the one planning stuff mostly since travels are also my stream content. That was one of the reasons why I miss travels – love being close to my friends and family, but I end up with so many plans and some random events that no one warned me about in advance. Having some time away to get some rest from all the people and activities feels good, usually end up more productive and have more time for myself when I’m travelling, even though my brain gets way more to process. Sunset in Batumi, Georgia I do miss the sea, even though not every country I travel to has access to it, I do miss being able to start my day with swimming or even better – snorkeling. When I was still in “stationary” mode, pre travels, I did morning swimming pool visits around four times a week, just really love water. Big part of travels for me is trying new food and enjoying different cuisines. Sure I could just order whatever food I want or go to some restaurant, but it’s not the same, besides it’s way too expensive for my hobo lifestyle, even though there are some really nice and affordable Vietnamese places nearby. Plov in Uzbekistan One thing I didn’t expect I would enjoy that much is “collecting” the vibes and memories from places I’ve been to. My memory works with pictures and visuals, so going around absorbing views and taking inner photographs of some mundane things actually ends up filling my head with nice memories. I don’t specifically hunt these “shots”, just going around different cities and places minding my own business, quite often during my streams. Many of those places also aren’t that beautiful and sometimes even other way around, but I do remember them and it feels nice going back to those memories that might cause a chain reaction of other nice memories. I should take more photos when I travel, really just places and vibes, so I can share those visuals and adding context to them in text could immerse the viewer/reader. I miss learning and exploring things. When my travels started I barely did any of that, super slowly. Idea to start IRL streaming my travels motivated me a lot and I started doing more exploration, wilder things so I can show my viewers something interesting. Frequent active exploration is draining money a lot though, so I need to keep it somewhat limited still, besides it’s quite stressful, so it’s nice to talk about it now, but during travels it can get pretty wild. Yerevan, Armenia Gonna write more posts about travels and especially do it more while I’m traveling, but boy it is hard to find time and energy for some blogging when you are on the go. Even though it didn’t get any easier after active travels were over, so it’s more in my head and something I really need to figure out eventually. More posts coming, hopefully no more surprised during next week at least, need to do some catching up to not fall behind the plan if there will be a free time shortage.
